{"id":781,"date":"2023-12-07T22:52:39","date_gmt":"2023-12-07T22:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relentlesswomenoffaith.com\/?p=781"},"modified":"2023-12-07T22:52:43","modified_gmt":"2023-12-07T22:52:43","slug":"on-the-seventh-day-of-christmas-jesus-gave-to-me-redemption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relentlesswomenoffaith.com\/?p=781","title":{"rendered":"On the seventh day of Christmas, Jesus gave to me &#8211; Redemption"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s gift is redemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know I talk a lot about redemption but it is the reason why I am still alive.<br>God redeemed me from death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was living a life of misery and sin.<br>I abandoned all I knew was right and all that I loved, to chase after sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It didn\u2019t happen over night it was truly a slow fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was just like the prodigal son. Who traded the safety of the father\u2019s house for my own worldly desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus came looking for me and found me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was a great rejoicing when I returned home.<br>There was love like I never knew.<br>The mercy and grace that He poured over me changed me forever.<br>I also had to go through correction on my path of redemption. That\u2019s not a fun part but it is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am so thankful that I was rescued. My life today is nothing short of a miracle. I am so completely humbled that God would take my story and allow me to share with others that He is our hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God has restored so many things in my life. He is faithful to His promises.<br>Don\u2019t lose hope on your prodigals. If God has given you a promise it will happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matthew 18:12 (MSG)<br>\u201cLook at it this way. If someone has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders off, doesn\u2019t he leave the ninety-nine and go after the one? And if he finds it, doesn\u2019t he make far more over it than over the ninety-nine who stay put? Your Father in heaven feels the same way.
