This was a post from several years ago but I felt the Lord impressing me to share it once again.
I am so thankful that we attend a church where the Holy Ghost is free to move and worship isn’t entertainment.
I’m telling you right now, allow God to move in your life and He will show up wherever you are.
The meaning of Revival
1: an act or instance of reviving: the state of being revived: such as, a: renewed attention to or interest in something, b: a new presentation or publication of something old.
I John 5:18
When we have that relationship with God we don’t continue to sin.
God takes our old self and makes it new. He starts a revival in our soul. He brings us from death to life.
Allow Him to refresh you today. It doesn’t take a special service or a pastor. God meets us right where we are. Please hear me I am not saying you don’t need church because we need that fellowship and unified worship but in a moment that you just need a touch God will meet you where you are.
Many times we think it takes a special service or preacher to bring revival to us. We think we have to travel to hear the latest and greatest preacher to feel the Holy Spirit. My friend that is where we miss it, you can feel the spirit where ever you are. A lot of times we don’t realize that we have the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead living in us. It’s the power of the name of Jesus that brings deliverance, healing , salvation and everything we need. It is time for Christians to be free in the spirit.
Guess what, if you don’t like the worship songs you can still worship. Don’t like whose leading worship you can still worship.
You don’t need a fancy group to lead you into Gods presence all you need is a heart that is pure and that is truly seeking Him.
Many times we make worship about us and what we can do, it becomes entertainment and not worship.
I want something real in these last days. I have experienced God move in a house, at a Taco Bell, at Walmart, on the baseball field. Don’t leave Jesus at home when you go about your life. Take Him with you. People need what we have.
I pray that people see Jesus when they look at me. Sometimes I get a little loud when I worship and I pray that’s because if you knew where He brought me from you would understand the depths of my love and thankfulness. I can look back and even in my ugly times I see the goodness of God just pouring over my life. I just want to be a willing and ready vessel. Fill me up Lord to overflowing and let it spread to those around me.
