Todays gift is Mercy
Mercy is when God’s love meets us and sets us free from our sin.
We didn’t deserve the blood of Jesus but God gave His Son as the ultimate sacrifice.
When we have experienced the Mercy of God, forgiveness and love we didn’t deserve it is easy to show Mercy to others.
There are people who will come in our life and they push all the buttons. They are takers and not givers. They try to cause division and strife. These are the ones who need our Mercy the most.
We have to look at them through the eyes of Jesus.
That’s super hard especially when we have been hurt.
I know it’s hard when we feel that we are right.
Think about Jesus dying and loving you when you reject Him over and over. Yet every time He shows you such Mercy and loves and forgives you. We deserve death but He gives us life.
Learn to love people like Jesus. Give up your right to be right. Be a peace maker. Ask yourself if the argument has eternal value.
Love the unloveable. Love the entitled. Love the broken. Love the outcast. Love the lost and when you do you are being the Hands and Feet of Jesus.
Ask those whom you have not shown Mercy for forgiveness. Let go of your pride and be the person God created you to be.

love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved.”
