Our homes need to built on the foundation of the Word of God.
We need to apply the principles of the Word to every area of our life. Without Godly wisdom our lives will be in chaos.
A home without God in the center is chaotic. When God is not present in our everyday life nothing satisfies us. We are always chasing the next big thing. We look for satisfaction in stuff but we still are empty but when God fills the void in our life and in our home things shift and change.
A home with God as the center can be satisfying even with little.
We have to realize we don’t live for the temporary things in this life but we are pressing toward the eternal.
Begin to ask God to guide you and fill you with His wisdom.
Lord, may our home be built on your wisdom. Lord, I pray that we realize the treasures we have are found in You. Let our home be filled with your presence so that every broken life that enters our doors will be changed.
Proverbs 24:3-4
By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures
