As we walk with Jesus, our character changes and we become more like Him and less like us. That should be our goal as we walk this walk of faith, that we are allowing God to change us and that when people see us they truly see Him.
As we walk this journey we need to ask God to help us in every relationship to reflect His character.
Our children need to see Him in us. They need to see God in our home everyday not just at church on Sunday.
God, we ask You to pour Your spirit over our home. Fill our home with You. Fill our home with love, joy, peace, patience, forgiveness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Fill our home with more of You and less of us.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
