Getting Plugged In

I have this battery powered toothbrush that ran out of juice. We couldn’t find the charger anywhere. I had every part, the case, all the new heads and no charger.
So I had to break down and get a new charger. Now it’s working like it should because it got plugged in to the power source.
The Lord started speaking to me, so many of us are without power because we only plug in at church. We don’t daily communicate with the Father. We don’t get in our Bible, we don’t make time to pray.
When we get plugged in the Holy Spirit shows up in our life. The disciples were waiting in one place , in agreement and hungry. The Holy Spirit came and filled them.
Do you feel like something is missing?

Then get in our prayer place and seek Him. Laying every thing else down.

We always find many things to entertain us, but is that entertainment taking the place of communication with the Lord?
Entertainment is good and there is a place for that. Enjoying time with people is fun and good for us.

I can almost guarantee we all know where the chargers are for every electronic in our home. We all know where our remote to our tv is, but when is the last time you opened your Bible and studied?
We are all guilty of not making our relationship with God a priority. The Lord is saying, “it’s time to get plugged in to Him and unplugged from the world.”

I encourage you to seek the Lord, make time for prayer and devotion.

Determine that the most important relationship you have is with Jesus. Make time for Him, make room for Him in your daily life.

Acts 2:1-4
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
