Hope can be renewed.

This is by far one of the best ones I believe Denise has written. It’s one from the archives, but the scripture and the message sure touched my heart today! Stop what you are doing and be still and soak in the message! Don’t give up…hope can be renewed!

As I have been wrestling with writing this post the nudging of the Holy Spirit won’t quit.

I apologize to you if during my broken season I hurt you.

I’m so sorry that I let you down.

My heart breaks that for some I preached and prayed, for they saw me in a lost place. Living a life I never imagined that I would.

I’m so sorry that I misrepresented Jesus to you.He didn’t fail any of you I did.For that I am deeply sorry.

I am sorry for the choices that I made that left painful consequences.

I cannot undo the past.

I can tell you that for the rest of my life I am 100 percent sold out to Jesus.

I pray that if you see me, you see Jesus. I pray that if you’re struggling, you run back to Jesus with open arms.

Have you ever been in a completely broken and devastated place? Having lost it all. In those moments your life is so dark and despair is all around you.

I can say I have been there and there is hope on the other side.

I was broken because people hurt me but I was also broken by the choices I made and the situations I created.

Yet in His relentless love and mercy God pursued me. He was just patiently waiting for my surrender. I can tell you for certain if not for the prayers of people around me I wouldn’t be here. I am forever grateful for those who didn’t give up on me.

Don’t give up praying for someone who may be in their darkest moment. In one moment with Jesus everything can change. Hope can be renewed. Despair has to leave. Brokenness is made whole. Hang on don’t give up. God is fighting with you and for you.

Psalms 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.”

Isaiah 61:7 to grant them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit…”

Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds…”

Galatians 6:1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore them gently…”

Romans 8:19-21 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”
