Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.
We have to renew our mind daily with the Word. Daily worship and fellowship with the Lord is vital to our spiritual survival.
Daily we are bombarded with life. Work, kids, chores they can consume the majority of our time. If we stop and give God the glory and praise He is due, the chaos around us tends to silence for that moment.
I know when I rush because I’m late and don’t spend that time I need to with the Lord that my day is complete chaos. So sometimes you just have to stop and make room for the Lord.
The Word says they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. There are so many benefits to waiting in His presence and studying His Word.
