The greatest love of my life is Jesus. I long to spend time with Him.

In my life I have had experiences with Jesus. When I had my encounter with Jesus my life was never the same.

My encounter took place when He showed up in the middle of my mess and didn’t leave me there.

When I encountered His love for me, it changed me deep down.

There was a season after my encounter I got so busy with life that I felt the closeness fading.

Soon I realized that I needed to pursue Him so intently.

The greatest love of my life is Jesus. I long to spend time with Him.

There is something about that one-on-one time with Jesus that prepares our heart for Worship with the Body of Christ.

We have to come with the expectation that we’re going to have an encounter with Jesus.

How can you be ready to meet Him at church if you haven’t made room for Him all week?

The realization is at the end of my life the only thing that is gonna matter is did I do all that He asked of me. Did I win souls? Did my life lead others to Him?
When you get that revelation that changes your wants and your desires.

“Experience” refers to the act of going through and receiving something, while “encounter” suggests a meeting, often unexpected, with a person, thing, or situation.

I found when I encountered God
He corrected my steps
He healed my brokenness
He restored my family
He gave me a vision for the lost
He directs my purpose
He changed me from the inside
He created a hunger deep inside
He stirred up the gifts and calling

1 O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. 3 Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! 4 I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. 5 You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. 6 I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. 7 Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. 8 I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely. – Psalm 63:1-8 NLT
