2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
[9] Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
Titus 2:11 NLT
[11] For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
Romans 11:6 NLT
[6] And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved.
Grace is unmerited favor. Grace is freely given to us not because we deserve it but because God loves us. You can’t work your way into salvation. You aren’t good enough. Salvation is only through the blood of Jesus. Grace is for everyone who believes you can’t earn it you can’t buy it. He gives it. The Bible says he gives strength and that His strength is perfect. The Word clearly shows us it’s not about us and what we can do. It is all about Jesus and the fact He gave his life for us. I am not saying grace is a license to sin. I am simply saying when we fall and mess up His grace is there to restore us.
Reflection:
Do you have secret sins your struggling with? Do you have shame and guilt that keeps you from full surrender? Purpose in your heart to let these things go. Fully surrender your heart and life. Accept His love and grace.
