He’s good in the hard days.
He’s good in the bad times.
He’s good when I don’t know how I will make it.
He’s good when sickness has attacked my body.
He’s good when my heart is broken.
He’s good when my back is against the wall.
He’s good when I reach the end of my rope.
His goodness isn’t defined or determined by me and my situations.
We need to declare His goodness.
We need to declare that He is the Great I am.
He has all we need, we just have to trust that He is working on our behalf. He is faithful. That’s hard to see when we face hurt and disappointment. I promise you that if you hold on to the hem of His garment you will see your victory.
All I can say is when I reflect over my life I see God’s goodness watching over me and keeping me from destruction.
Nahum 1:7-8 NLT
[7] The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. [8] But he will sweep away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He will pursue his foes into the darkness of night.
