I’ve walked through a season of testing… and if I’m honest, I’m still in one.
But I have to trust that God’s Word is true.
I have to believe that in all these things, God is working for my good. 🙏
I have to keep my eyes on Jesus so the storm doesn’t drown me. 👀✝️🌊
This morning I reflected on Job.
đź“– Book of Job 1:8
He was blameless and upright. He feared God.
Yet his life fell apart — not because of sin, but because of his unwavering faith.
Job’s health was affected… and he still praised God.
His friends turned their backs on him… and he still praised God.
His own wife wasn’t supportive… and he still praised God.
He lost his wealth… and he still praised God.
He lost his children… and he still praised God. 💔
Bad things happen to good people.
đź“– Book of Job 13:15
“Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him.”
Even in our darkest moments, we must never lose hope in God. ✨
đź“– Book of Job 23:10-12
When He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. 🔥✨
Even when heaven feels silent… God is still present.
Even when friends fail us… God never does. 🤍
đź“– Book of Job 28:28
Wisdom comes from fearing the Lord and turning away from evil.
Humility is the key. 🗝️
Pride clouds our vision and keeps us from following fully.
Sometimes during suffering, we sin.
Sometimes we question.
Sometimes we speak from pain.
But God longs for repentance and a humble heart.

After repentance…
After forgiveness…
Comes restoration and blessing. 🌿🌸
Job forgave his friends before he knew how blessed he was about to become.
Sometimes friends give lousy counsel and try to get us to give up on God.
Don’t. Quit. 🙅‍♀️
God is with us in the storm.
God is in control.
God sees the ending from the beginning. đź‘‘
So today the prayer of my heart is this:
🙏 “Lord, clean it out. I trust You to guide my steps during this season.
I won’t quit.
I won’t give up.
I won’t lose hope.
My heart is pure and humble before You.”
If you’re in a season of testing… hold on.
You are not abandoned.
You are being refined. 🔥✨
