There are so many young people drowning under the weight of depression. 😔🌊
Mental health is real. 🧠 And I know that God can restore a broken mind. 🙌 So many of our battles in the mind come from a broken heart. 💔
Sometimes we don’t know how to surrender our pain and worries. 😞 We carry wounds for so long that one day… we just crumble under the weight of it all. 🥀
But Jesus came to heal every part of us. ✝️✨
I’m not sharing this from a place of judgment—only from a place of testimony. 📖 I know what Jesus can do. 🙏🔥
Depression is real. 😔 It can steal your quality of life. It can turn you into someone you don’t even recognize. 😞 It doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a slow fade. 🌫️ One day you wake up and realize how far you’ve fallen, and you don’t even know how you got there… or how to get out. 🕳️
We’ve been living in hard, heavy seasons. 🌧️ Even people of faith have been shaken. 😣 It feels like the enemy came in like a flood. 🌊⚔️
But hear this… 👇✨
When your mind feels dark, don’t feed it. ❌🖤
Turn on worship. 🎶🙌 Let praise fill the room. 🎵✨ Let it quicken your spirit again. 🔥 Your spirit is starving for life in those moments. 🕊️
And don’t fight alone. 🤝
Talk to someone who knows how to battle. 🛡️ Tell them the truth about how you feel—even the hopeless parts. 🗣️💬
God lifted me out of depression and despair. 🙌💛
Those chains were broken off my mind and my heart. ⛓️➡️✨
Jesus put a praise in me that no one can take away. 🎶🔥🙌
So if I shout… 📣 if I dance… 💃 if I pray loud… 🙏🔥 it’s not for show.
It’s because I remember where He brought me from. 💭✨
I remember when the noise in my mind was so loud I couldn’t hear God. 🔊😣
I remember when all I could whisper was “Jesus.” 🤍
I remember sitting in my car 🚗💔 crying 😭 breaking… and in one moment, He met me there and lifted that depression. ✨🙌
It came when I surrendered and said, “God, I can’t take one more step.” 🛑🙏
