Let the glory fill the temple
2 Chronicles 6 – Solomon cries out to God on behalf of his people. He reminds God of every time. The people have repented
VS-40 He ask for Gods eyes to be open and his ears to hear.
Vs-41 He invited God into the temple.
VS-42- He remined God of the promise He made to King David.
2 Chronicles 7:1-3 The fire of God hit that place and people fell worshiping.
When Gods presence shows up the atmosphere changes. God will not compete with man-made agendas or desires. We cannot put God in a box. We can’t label God. God will not share His glory with any man. Solomon realized that he had to humble himself in prayer. For several chapters God let Solomon speak. So many times, the Lord just lets us keep talking.
VS11-22 God had to remind Solomon he was still in charge. He expected the people to live right, follow His laws, not worship other God’s or he would utterly destroy the temple.
VS 15- Gods eyes are open, and his ears are hearing our prayers.
What are we asking God for. God is wanting to fill his temple once again with His presence. He is looking for hungry hearts that want to be filled. He is calling us as moms, wives, daughters, friends to seek His face. When women get together in unity Hell gets scared. When we get united, we send the enemy packing. It is time to send Him packing.
