Today we are so thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit

Today we are so thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
It is the power we need in our everyday life.

The Holy Spirit just doesn’t make you dance and shout.
Sometimes it makes you be quiet or even apologize.
The Holy Spirit convicts us when we’re wrong.
The Holy Spirit gives us that nudge when we’re at the wrong place.
The Holy Spirit gives us the urgency to lift up others.

The evidence of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, we should pray in our heavenly language daily.

It’s not a one time experience, it’s a gift that we can directly intercede with the Father.
People think it’s not real or it’s crazy, they just don’t understand the gift.
If the gift was for the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts it is still a gift for today.
It’s the power we need in this day and time more than ever.
It’s the power that sustains us.
It’s the power needed when people need healing.
It’s the power we need when chains need breaking.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Acts 2:3–4 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
