Come to the water

Relentless Women of Faith
Denise Renee Taylor
This is a rewrite from a year ago.
Over this last year.
I have walked in the water.
I have gone deeper than I ever imagined I would.
I still desire to go deeper.
I was reading this passage last night with my husband.
This morning this popped up.
I know this is a word for someone today.

Last year when I determined to walk deeper and dive in, my perspective changed. My desire changed.
My weight lifted, my brokenness was healed.

I hear the Holy Spirit speaking
Come to the water
Don’t stand at the edge
Walk in
Let my spirit refresh you
It’s health for your bones
It’s life for your soul
Taste of my goodness
Drink the water of life and never thirst again.
Quit looking for fulfillment in other things the only place you will be satisfied is at my feet.
Some of you have been saturated with His presence in days gone by, but it’s been so long it’s just a memory.
Allow His presence to wash over you today. God is crushing and pressing to bring out the new wine inside of us.
Stop being satisfied with a taste. God desires to fill our cup to overflowing, but we are too distracted when we’re in His presence.
I have felt the Holy Spirit in a crowd of strangers totally surrounded. I have felt the Holy Spirit in my car as I’m driving. I have felt the thunder of God’s voice and I have heard the gentle whispers of His love.
I don’t know about you but I need a refreshing in my spirit so I am diving in the water .

Isaiah 55 1-3
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
