I Samuel 16:7
Samuel looked at David and didn’t think He was qualified to be King.
God saw something in David you couldn’t see simply looking on the outside.
Sometimes all people see is our outward appearance and our flaws but God sees the inner man.
God has called you to a place and a purpose in this season.
You look in the mirror and you see your failures and imperfections but God sees his masterpiece.
Your experience is your testimony.
Your pit is where you find your praise.
Your fall is your greatest comeback
When you have been pulled from the pit you have a new praise in your heart. When you have been redeemed from the pigpen you have a new purpose.
Forget the past and look forward to the prize. Lay aside your insecurities and allow God to use you for His glory.
I Samuel 16:7
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
