We have freedom in Jesus but that freedom isn’t for us to keep sinning and pleasing our flesh.
That freedom is so we are not under the bondage of sin.
So many people abuse grace by thinking they can continually sin.
Repentance is turning away from sin. Leaving the old life behind.
The other part of this scripture is that we should not devour each other with our words.
I think we all struggle with this at times. As Christians we should watch our speech.
You never know who is listening when you’re talking.
You could destroy someone’s character just because of a misunderstanding.
We need to give our whole heart and life to God in every way.
Galatians 5:13-15
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh;rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
