Trust is so hard for our human minds to understand. How do we trust in a God we don’t see?
But we do see Him.
In the wind that blows, the sun that shines. The rain that falls. We see God in the provisions that we have when we’re down to our last thing. We see God in miracles when body’s are restored.
We see God when addicts are set free and restored.
We see God in the arms of a mom holding her baby.
Look around you God is everywhere we just have to see His greatness and majesty.
I am reminded of the poem footprints.
My mind goes back to times I know that I only survived because He carried me.
I have learned to trust because He is always faithful. No it doesn’t always turn out like I want. It always works out like he intended.
We have to trust God with every part of our lives. Our children, our spouse, our homes, our finances and every other aspect.
God doesn’t want your seconds or your leftovers. We are doing a study on the blessed life and man has it stirred my heart. Simple principles we don’t always apply that are laid out front to back in the Word of God.
I pray you become challenged this year to go deeper with God than you ever have.
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Psalm 13:5
But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
Isaiah 26:3-4
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
