Why do I trust in God?
I sought Him and He answered
When I cried out to Him he delivered me from my destruction and set me free.
He heard my cry.
He healed my broken heart
He took me off a path of death and destruction and set me on the path of righteousness.
He gave me a new song
He took away despair and fear and replaced it with hope and joy.
He gave me peace in the midst of chaos
I could never list all He has done for me.
No love…No person…No thing…Will ever come close or compare to God.
His love has no end.
I trust God because He has never failed me. I trust God because He is faithful concerning His promises to those who love Him.
I trust God because He looked beyond my faults and saved me.
Psalms 34:4-8
I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalms 40:1-8
I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path.
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear [with great reverence]And will trust confidently in the Lord.
4 Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done,And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of your wonders,They would be too many to count.
