Jesus purposefully pursued quiet time with the Father. That should speak volumes to us.
He made time for God every day. He understood that all the temporary things needed to bow to the eternal.
When we rest in Gods presence and feast from His Word our souls are satisfied. Our minds get aligned with the Lord and our will becomes tangled up with His. We begin to pursue the dreams He has laid out for us. We begin to understand worshipping God is ultimately what we were born to do. We chase after God and not the stuff.
Make room for God in your everyday life and watch things begin to change. Don’t let the enemy distract you with doubt and disappointment.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 ESV.
