Spending time in the Word and in prayer helps develop your spiritual radar. Many times we are waiting for direction and we never open the Word. He provides promises and warnings in His Word. However if we don’t study the Word we won’t know how to apply the promises to our life. When you spend time in prayer we feel that check in our spirit. If we never communicate with the Lord our radar will be dull. Staying in tune with the Lord is the key to being able to discern when something is off.
The Word of God is powerful. It’s our guide. You need more than a Sunday dose of the Word. You need a daily fill up.
This is the time we must draw closer to the Lord.
