The Word of God is powerful. The Word is alive. If you never open the pages you are leaving a powerful weapon unused.
So many times we try and fight battles in our own strength and own mind and it exhausts us.
The Word is the sword we use to slay the giants.
The Word is a weapon we need when we have to daily face the world.
When you study the Word it begins to come alive to you. You begin to want to do what God is asking of you.
The Bible is our road map and it’s no wonder we get of course when we never open it.
Sometimes we go through unexpected detours and road hazards all because we didn’t let our road map for life be our guide.
So today open your Bible let it be your guide. If you need to slay some giants don’t leave your sword behind.
Hebrews 4:12-13
2 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
