Pearls are very valuable. They are created under difficult circumstances.
Sometimes the enemy hides our worth.
During our crushing and breaking God is creating something new.
Every disappointment, tragedy and difficult situation have made us the person we are
today.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT
[8] We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. [9] We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.
Jesus went to the garden to pray he prayed under the shadow of the olive tree.
The olive tree needs the harsh east wind that helps dry it out to help it grow as well the west wind which brings rain and life.
For an olive to be edible if has to go through a lengthy process – washing, breaking, soaking, some salting, and waiting.
Our crushing times are our preservation times.
When they crush the oil out of the olive it perseveres the olives and makes them last longer. It does not destroy them.
Crushing is necessary but it does not destroy us. It’s pulling out the oil.
When we’re facing harsh winds they are necessary but they will not crush us.
When I’m going through a time of processing God is removing my bitterness.
When I’m being crushed it is for my preservation.
Pearls possess a splendid brightness, shining in splendor. Their beauty is as much within, as
without.
Job 28:18 NLT
[18] Coral and jasper are worthless in trying to get it. The price of wisdom is far above rubies.
When Moses came down from the mountain after being in the presence of God the glory showed all around him. People can sense, see and smell when you have been in the presence of God.
Have you truly experienced His presence?
Once you experience His presence and His love you are never the same.
