🌿 Correction is Love 🌿
None of us like discipline.
We hate to correct our kids — and especially our grandchildren — but deep down we know there are times when it’s needed. ❤️
If God never corrected us, we would never fully understand the depth of His love.
💗 Correction is love.
When we see our child doing something that could hurt or harm them, it’s our job to step in and correct them — not because we’re mean, but because we care. That’s exactly what God does for us. 🙏
Many times, we don’t like His correction.
We want things to go our way, in our timing, and according to our plan.
But trusting that His ways are higher and best (Isaiah 55:8-9) isn’t always easy.
✨ Don’t get discouraged when the Lord corrects you.
Take heart — because at the end of the correction is the reward.
God’s correction is part of the preparation to make us into who He’s called us to be.
If He never corrected us, we’d never grow. 🌱
He’s pulling out the impurities, refining our hearts, and taking us to a new level.
We can’t move higher with God if we keep doing the same old things.
🔥 Allow God to cleanse your heart.
Even though correction hurts for a moment, the life it brings to your spirit is worth it all.
📖 Hebrews 12:4–11 (NIV)
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”
…No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. 🌾
