Don’t feel hopeless!

Jesus was dead everyone was hopeless. Mary’s heart was broken.

The son she loved had died a painful death. How could this be God’s plan?

I’m sure as a mom she felt like He was gone too soon. Jesus was born to die. He came into the world to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Everyone thought it was over. I’m sure the disciples were full of fear. I’m sure their minds were racing, maybe their thoughts were will I be next. If only they had truly heard every word Jesus spoke, they would realize that Sunday is on the way.

Jesus had to go and battle to take back the keys of death, hell and the grave. Jesus did that for you and for me. The honest truth is God doesn’t want anyone to perish, yet we choose pleasure and sin over serving Him.

When is the last time you truly examined your life? What is your priority in life? The Bible says where your heart is there your treasure will be. People get ready, this world is gonna fade away. The only security we have is our salvation. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, your eternal destination is hell. A one time prayer as a child isn’t enough. Sin separates us from God.

Clean your heart before Him.

Confess your sins daily.

Don’t let little compromises keep you from your eternal destination.

Jesus didn’t die so that you would end up in hell. He died so that we could be set free from every chain the enemy has wrapped around us. If you feel hopeless today remember that a lot can happen in 3 days.

John 14 1-4 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going
