Today’s gift is forgiveness.
This one can be an ouch for us at times.
How can we expect God to forgive us when we can’t forgive others?
I think we live in flight or fight mode for so long that people unknowingly trigger us and it creates a wedge.
The Lord truly wants to heal those places in our hearts and lives, we just have to allow Him to do the work.
As Jesus was dying on a cross a cruel and undeserved death, He asked the Father to forgive those doing this to Him.
Yet we wanna stay upset or bitter because someone didn’t include us.
We are supposed to love and live like Jesus yet we can’t forgive people when they do us wrong.
Sometimes we don’t even realize we have a grudge or hurt feelings until someone says something that makes us upset. The enemy is looking for an inch to get in and cause havoc.
Today I chose to be intentional in my actions. I will forgive those who have done me wrong. I will seek forgiveness for those I have hurt.
How can I hold onto these things when Jesus died for me.
I thank God that He forgives us over and over. Because we stumble and fall so much.
This Christmas season chose to let go of grudges and forgive those people. Make an attempt to reconnect and show the love of God.
Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Matthew 5:23-24
So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you.
