Raising Our Children

God gave us very specific instructions and guidelines for raising our children. We need to always share this with them. How many times do we just put some electronic device on and let our kids entertain themselves. We have all been guilty of this because it is easier than dealing with their moods, behavior etc.

We have raised a generation that can tell you everything on YouTube and know the lyrics to every secular song but can’t tell you what they learned in Sunday School.

We have to make the things of God important in our homes and our daily life. We need to bring the home altar back.

How often do your kids actually see you pray or worship the Lord?

Have you thought about the music you listen to and the effect it has on your children? Have you noticed the chaos a lot of music brings into our home?

I’m telling you the enemy is out to destroy our families, he is coming in like a flood and we have to be prayed up and prepared to go to battle.

You have to cover your family in prayer. You must draw a line about what you allow in your home. Take back your children, take back your home, take back your marriage.

Go to the enemy’s camp and take it back in Jesus name.

I pray that my children and grandchildren see a mom and a nana that prays. I hope they know that I will cover them daily. My heart’s desire

is that those that are astray will come home. I want to see God become the most important relationship in their life.

Let’s seek the face of God. Let’s become a people of prayer.

God is here and ready to pour His spirit out. He is looking for hungry hearts that are ready to be filled. Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 (New International Version)

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
