I was listening to Make Room as I worshipped this morning that’s the cry of my heart. I don’t want anything in my life that keeps Jesus at a distance. My heart is fully surrendered and I am here saying Lord I will follow whatever you say.
The Holy Spirit was challenging my heart. Do we know what full surrender looks like? Do we understand that when we say, God I’m inviting you in and you can take over actually means?What we are saying is God I’m done being in charge. I am done doing things my way. Where you lead I will follow. My heart is yours completely.
Full surrender means laying down your traditions and your religion. Serving God isn’t a religion, it’s a relationship.
Full surrender says God you’re in charge, so order my steps.
When we surrender we know God is working all things for our good. Full surrender says even though I don’t know where we’re going I’m following.
Full surrender isn’t about you at all.
God is looking for some hungry hearts. God is looking for some people that are ready to wrestle to get their blessings.
God is looking for some people who are bold in their faith.
Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Romans 8:28And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
