Stay Salty

Most of us use salt to flavor foods when we’re cooking. Food is bland without some kind of seasoning and flavor. It seems when you have to season post cooking it doesn’t have the same effects on the flavor.

We are the spiritual salt for people around us. So what happens if you lose your flavor?

How do you stay spiritually salty? By renewing yourself in the Word and in His presence.

Don’t let yourself get cold in your spirit, those around us need us to be charged and full of flavor to face the battle. The Bible says when we lose our flavor it’s no good for anyone. We are to spread the love of Jesus to all those around us but when we don’t have that love overflowing out of us it’s kinda hard to spread. Remember you can’t give to others what you haven’t put in you. Stop running empty spiritually because you don’t have time. In this day and time we have to make time for Him or we won’t survive. Be the hope those around you need.

People around you need to hear about the hope that lives inside of us. You have no idea how many people are on the verge of giving up. Ask the Father to help you stay salty so you can flavor the world around you.
