I want to lavishly love Jesus.

Lavish, what comes to mind is extravagant over the top, generous.

So many of us are that way with people that we love. I know as a nana I’m that way with my little loves.
I wanna pour my love on Jesus just like He pours into me.

So why aren’t we that way with Jesus?
We act like it’s a bother to give of our time or talent to help further the kingdom.
Our pocketbook is used for our own pleasure and not to reach the lost.

I want to lavishly love Jesus.
I want to give Him everything I have.
Nothing else can satisfy.
Once you experience His love and kindness you won’t be satisfied with what the world has to offer.

The days of playing church and being comfortable with just showing up once a week are over.
In these last days it’s gonna take the keeping power of the Holy Spirit to sustain us.

Psalms 36:5-7
5  Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God;
Your judgments are like the great deep;
man and beast you save , O LORD.
7  Hoe precious is your steadfast love, O God!
The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
