Galatians 5:25 amplified
As Christians we must walk with integrity. Our character must reflect God. How can we do that in a sinful environment? We must pray, study the Word and live by the Holy Spirit.
In the business world we must deal with others with integrity. How often do people try to push our buttons because they know we are a Christian?
We must have moral character, I believe it is our job to teach these things to the younger generation.
Morals, respect and integrity have all been thrown out the window. We need to train our children in the ways of God.
We have to draw that line on things that are not acceptable and not wavier even when they are throwing a fit.
How will we have a future generation of believers if we don’t train and instill the Word of God deep inside?
Remember back over your life, did you have people around you that taught you the things of God? That influence is evident in your life today.
Maybe you didn’t have anyone when you were young and now you are just growing your faith you can still teach your children and grandchildren the things of God. You can still leave a Godly heritage for them.
25 If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]. 26 We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another.
