As I was reading this morning the Lord just spoke to my heart. So many times our prayers remain unanswered because we lack expectation.
We don’t expect God to do what He promised. Many times I think we compare God to earthly father’s who have let us down. That is not who God is.
Expectation – a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future
If God’s word says to pray and lay down our cares with expectation, then why would we ever think He would fail us?
This morning I want you to pray about the need that is weighing your heart down. Lay that down at the feet of Jesus and expect God to answer your prayer.
Don’t pick up that worry, every time it comes to your mind begin to say Thank you Jesus I know it’s done . Begin to speak the promises of God over the situation but do not pick it back up with worry or negative speech.
Don’t try to figure out how it should be answered. Trust that the way He answers is the right way for the situation.
