God let my heart burn for you.

Relentless Women of Faith
Denise Renee Taylor

Sometimes we need a reminder.
This post was several years ago but it still rings true.

God is worthy of all my praise in the greatest of moments and in the worst devastation. It is easy to praise and shout when life is good. The true heart of worship is pushing into His presence when you don’t want to, because then your worship is truly about Him.

This song Worthy of it all, has spoken to my spirit time and time again.

I never want my worship or my praise to be anything but a sweet incense before the Lord.

God let my heart burn for you.
Take any selfishness from me I want my life to please you.
Search me and know me my God.
Pull out the junk that hinders me from your presence.
In your presence there is peace , joy, strength.

Is my prayer and worship a sweet incense to the Lord?
Everyday my prayer and praise should be going before the throne.

God is worthy of all our praise.
God is worthy when life is crumbling around us.
God is worthy when we can’t make sense of the chaos.
God is worthy of our praise even when we don’t feel like it.

Sometimes we don’t get the answers we want when we pray. Sometimes God gives us a no and it simply breaks our heart.

These hard situations and these difficult moments make us question every thing.

Remember that God’s ways are higher than ours.
God’s plan is the best plan.
Out of every season of brokenness and pain comes victory.

Learn to pray and push through the pain.
Don’t take your eyes off of Jesus.
It’s okay to get real with God.

Tell Him that your broken, disappointed, devastated. He already knows. He is just waiting for us to cry out to Him.

Sometimes life isn’t fair and I have no answers for why the bad happens.
I just know that the Bible is the true and living Word of God and it says.

Matthew 5:45 – says even though we are His children it rains on the just and the unjust.

So even though we’re His kids life will still happen. Circumstances will rock us to our very core.

Romans 8:28 –
All things work together for our good

So this test and trial you are in will become your testimony.
This loss will not defeat you.
The ashes of your life will become a beautiful masterpiece in the hands of the potter.

I will let my prayer and praise be from my inter-most being.
In my hurt I will cry out to Jesus
In my sorrow I will sing and I know that he will restore my joy.
Hold to this hope

Revelation 4:11
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being

Psalms 141:2

Accept my prayer as incense offered to you, and my upraised hands as an evening offering.
