Firmly planted
unmovable, unshakeable.
We need to be firmly planted in Christ. The cares of this world will complete overwhelm us and try to shake us.
Unexpected illness. Overwhelming bills and not enough income.
Stressful jobs, not enough time to keep your home together.
Life that never slows down. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Or is it just me?
Life seems to go at the speed of light sometimes.
My days are super long and the evening is just too short.
I find myself exhausted at moments from all the cares of this life. At the moment I am the most overwhelmed a gentle voice whispers , come unto me and I will give you rest.
The Holy Spirit reminds me daily that the burdens of my heart are not mine. My mama and nana heart need to be in a million places to love and hold them. It’s just not possible. I have to daily place them in the hands of Jesus. His reach is far greater than mine.
I just know the enemy tries in so many ways to knock us down. He wants to shake us. We must be steadfast and unmoved. The storms of life are gonna blow, if we are anchored in the arms of Jesus that storm won’t harm us.
1 Corinthians 15:58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
