What’s spilling over in your life.
This morning I did a coffee run for my staff. They came in early so we can get a project completed along with the final EOM tasks. When they handed me the coffee all the cups were almost gone the bottom of the cup holder broke.
Disaster was avoided but some spilled over on me. Thankfully a big mess didn’t happen but I do smell a little like a caramel latte. This made my mind think about what spills over from our life into others.
If you’re mad all the time that pours out on others.
If you’re sad all the time the atmosphere around you is filled with sadness.
So it got me thinking about the Jesus in us, what if we let that spill out on to those around us.
When Jesus walks in a room the atmosphere changes, we carry Jesus everywhere we go so the atmosphere should change. Sometimes we have so much other junk pouring out that it’s hard for people to see or feel Jesus in us.
The presence of Jesus carries a sweet aroma and that spills over on us.Let’s spill out some joy, peace and love to those around us. Let the love of Jesus spill out all around you.
Psalms 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever
