Today’s gift is redemption.
I know I talk a lot about redemption but it is the reason why I am still alive.
God redeemed me from death.
I was living a life of misery and sin.
I abandoned all I knew was right and all that I loved, to chase after sin.
It didn’t happen over night it was truly a slow fade.
I was just like the prodigal son. Who traded the safety of the father’s house for my own worldly desires.
Jesus came looking for me and found me.
There was a great rejoicing when I returned home.
There was love like I never knew.
The mercy and grace that He poured over me changed me forever.
I also had to go through correction on my path of redemption. That’s not a fun part but it is necessary.
I am so thankful that I was rescued. My life today is nothing short of a miracle. I am so completely humbled that God would take my story and allow me to share with others that He is our hope.
God has restored so many things in my life. He is faithful to His promises.
Don’t lose hope on your prodigals. If God has given you a promise it will happen.
