Where were you when the world came to a halt?
I remember that day so clearly.
Steven was at school
Kayela was a her pre-K class and Austin was with me on our way to the bank.
As soon as the radio announced what had happened my mom heart sank. I got a call from the school to come get Steven and Kayela we then went to my granny’s house to wait and watch.
That moment I hugged my babies a little tighter and was so thankful they were safe. Then my heart began to break for all those who lost their lives. I was hurting for the children who lost their parents. That day we had hero’s stand up to do what Americans do, get our hands dirty and help each other.
These days that followed we were a people filling every church house. Praying for God to heal our land.
We knew that we needed God. We knew we needed healing only He could provide.
Sadly as time went on, churches were empty and people were replacing church with everyday things.
Now look at us we are trying to remove God from everything when we need Him more than ever.
Pray for our first responders today, they put their life in jeopardy everyday.
Pray for our nation that we realize we need Jesus more than ever.
Pray that God will heal our land.
Pray that revival fire will fall all across our land.
Pray for those families that were devastated and still healing.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
It is time to turn away from our sin and seek the face of God.
